Program Curriculum
Pineapple Empower is led by Andrea Chaves, the founder of Pineapple Women, who brings more than a decade of experience as a teacher specializing in STEAM education.
Most of the program is asynchronous and, therefore, flexible. Our volunteers, the Pineapple Women, will support and guide participants through workshops and in developing their websites.
Upon completion of the program, participants will have developed their digital portfolios, reflecting their personal brand, skills, achievements, and professional aspirations.
Development on Wix
The participants will create an account on Wix and will be taught how to create a digital portfolio.
Workshops with Mentors
Show and Tell
Professionals will teach participants practical skills and expose them to various careers.
Pineapple Women Talks
The participants will have the opportunity to interview a mentor, not only to explore careers but also to inspire future generations.
The participants will practice how to tell their stories and present their digital portfolios professionally.

During the Pineapple Empower program, participants created personal web pages to share their stories, develop their narratives, and recognize their talents and achievements. They gained valuable digital skills, learned to celebrate their achievements, and discovered tools for future career success.
